Hey Guys.
I'm an environment artist and hard surface modeler and I work with 3dsmax and Zbrush and other common programs. My brother asked me to make a 3d mirror for him. I started to work on it with 3dsmax but it's kinda hard to make all the detail.
maybe in this piece it's ok but I've seen some concepts that are hard to achieve with regular video game style hard surface
. I have seen some people make these kinda stuffs with rhino.
so here is the question : He wants the model to be used for a CNC :poly127: so is it better to work with rhino ?
Here are some more examples (they are not my job and done by rhino) :

On the other hand, these shapes are not too hard to model with subdivision surface techniques in 3ds Max. Just run a STL Check modifier when you're done, to check for watertight, etc.
