Let me explain our idea some more.
Background story
"Dovrik. An old human colony in the Aegian System. After the outbreak of the Aegian war, chaos broke through, and the planet was abbandoned by colonizers, who went either back to a wasteland Earth or drifted away in space.
The Human Colonization Council (HCC) reunited more than once to decide upon the planet's fate: since all the mineral resources had been explored, nothing was left to be done with the land,
when the idea of a maximum security prison came up. Works for the construction of Hades Maximum Security Center started as soon as possible, and with time it became known as the last place you'd like to pass your days in.
Time passed. The HCC was running low on money and resources, and Hades was gradually abbandoned to its own destiny. Prisoners would be sent there only to know that they would never get out of there. It was a death sentence on its own, no matter how much you wanted not to be there.
Drenn, a long hunted murderer, was finally caught and sent in. Charged of high treason during the Aegian wars, Drenn was found guilty and condemned to life in Hades. He passed his first few days in one of the cells, to be sent right after that to one of the hanging cages of the Pit. Striving to survive, he managed to survive that torture, drowning in pouring water that comes thru the tunnels as hard as solid rock.
It was the final drop. Upon glaring the starry skies of Dovrik through the tunnel, known as the only connection between prisoners and the outside world, Drenn decided he wouldn't stay there any longer. Now, only his instincts and love of life can take him out of hell. The only obstacle between life and death, and his desperate escape, is a tight sealed iron grate that covers the pit."
What am I likely to be seing?
The scene setting is a high security prison, carved in the rock.
The looks of the prison is a mix of medieval and sci fi - as confusing as it might sound, try to envision it as an old torture prison, with technology to make it safe.
In this unique setting, Drenn is a prisoner, awaiting for the opportune moment to make for freedom.
also quick view out of prison and small inset is the prison well floor.
here we will hang what we call the sweat boxes for solitary prisoners who have been extra naughty lol

hello guys, time to update. will continue the work on the wood door now, but figured it would be nice to have some rocks to break up repetition in some areas. so gave it a shot. more to come later.

2: Close up view of hands coming up out of the floor grate
Really coming together, I feel like the rock floor to the left by the door is pretty busy and doesn't really help the eye flow over to the right, I feel like I'm getting caught there. Maybe a smoother path instead? Keep it going!
The flag is a great touch, the particle system looks to be working well. Scale is a bit strange though I'll be honest... when I saw the concept it didn't look very big, I think maybe the chains are too big.... Also The grid covering the hole looks quite new, it needs some weathering depending on how long it's been there... maybe some new patches if it is being maintained or some holes if it's been left to rot aswell as some discoulouration, algae/moss and rusting...

so ive been working on the char for a few days now. still very much WIP

im no char artist, so its not the best work of mine. but im doing my best here ^^
char is a chubby prisoner, just someone to help fill the scenery with inmates. other prisoners to come after these are done hopefully.

after looking at my entry for some time i`ve decided to maybe remake my char.
i will most likely go for the look of snake pliskin lol
but i will see how quick i can turn him around as i can only create for a few hours in the evenings.
