Hey guys!
My name is Jacob and I'm a game art student in Sweden. I thought it was finally time for me to join all the awesome people at Polycount and what better way to start than with my own sketchbook.
Comments and critics are very welcome! Thanks for watching.

I'll start off with some stuff that I've done since last summer... There might be both some new and old stuff and things might not be in chronological order straight away. So here goes!
Some fan art of Thane and Vaas. Did sculpts like these as a project in school. Pretty much ZBrush all the way and then some Photoshop to finish.
Simple turnaround of my Thane sculpt (no pose) without any composition.
Turnaround of my Vaas sculpt (might not be all the right shaders, but still, almost correct).

And this girl.. Inspired by the great work of Dan Luvisi. Used the girl from Urban Cones EP cover as a ref. Beautiful face!
Photoshop and Wacom used on both.
Thank you LensFlare (!) & and thanks for calling me sir, haha. I'm glad you like my work.

Here are some oldies that I did a year ago. Very simple low poly modeling but I thought it would be fun to post anyway.
The models were made for a game called Build ´N` Break, which is a party strategy game that lets two players compete as Aliens From Outer Space and The Samurai Empire. The goal is to build a tower, place cannons and then shoot down the opponents tower. You win when all of the opponents cannons are destroyed.
The game was made during 9 weeks and we were nominated as GOTY in the Swedish Game Awards. We didn't win but instead we won the gamers choice.
You can watch the trailer to view the final result. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhZ_QDQ3emI&list=LLKrw_6AVRs1Gu2BnT3bczFQ&feature=mh_lolz"]Build 'n' Break - Trailer [HD] - YouTube[/ame]
Here is some improvement. I also did a fast sketch of the shell. Will use it to build new topology and make it super clean.
You capture some great emotion in your work..
Thanks for sharing
Thanks godonholiday. Did not see your comment earlier so sorry about that.
But here is a new wip. Got some more free time to work on the Turtle.
And here are also some oldies that I forgot to post in the past. One image of Donnie and one clay render of Thane.
Two speedsculpts (made today in school) as a 3D concept for the 2 week game project. Based on concepts by a classmate.
Here are some test renders from keyshot, just for fun. First time I ever used it and what can I say.. LOVE IT! Think I got a hang of it pretty fast so I will definitely use it for future presentations.
And some textures for a robot mesh. Done both in dDO and by hand in Photoshop. Robot made by http://www.pernroth.nu
Um... YES!
Some of the hp ninja turtle stuff gets too noisey imo with micro details, but not a big deal.
I especially love your 2d art. Great work!
I really like to push my details/alphas in ZBrush quite hard sometimes, so thanks for the tip. Glad you like the work and thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
Tris: 13126
2048*2048 diffuse/specular (gloss in alpha)/normal/emissive maps.
Tools used; ZBrush, Maya, Xnormal, Photoshop, nDo2, dDo & Marmoset 2.
Thank you very much!
Right now I'm a student at Futuregames in Stockholm. In a year I will be out on my internship and hopefully I'll be able to find a nice company where I can keep evolving.
Thank you so much for your kind words. If you know of any nice companies that offers internships in the future, please let me know. Cheers!
I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada so I don't know if mentioning any of the companies here would be of much help to you. However, this is a really cool website that lists the majority of development studios around the world.

There's even a few in my home town that I didn't know existed.
Here is a rough block out, trying to visualise what I want to achieve.
