Hey! Cool style you got going here I like! Looking at your barrels the first thing that pops to mind is that the saturation seems too high, and the hue too static. Meaning it would probably look better with some hue shift within the wood. Post more soon ok ^^
Thanks jumsvanberg! That's a good point, I'll do it better next time! Since it has been one of my first attempts there are quiet a lot of mistakes, haha.

I started to work on an enviroment, here's a really rough concept I started. I might change some things while I go on.
It's an abandoned subway station, I plan to give it some "industrial" feeling, I think there will be a lot of steel and concrete... I've also already a little story I'd love to tell with this scene =D

Conceptual stuff. I'm planning to do a little Suikoden I Diorama, based on Gremios death. (Featuring McDohl and Gremio)
Inspired through the VGRemix Challange, but I dunno if I'll participate.... 'cause I want to do some highquality handpainted textures something aroung 512² or 1024²... I'll see.
Whatever. This is a style I'd like to use... I'll do some more tweaking I guess, any critique?

Quick try of a prasentation sheet for a tree I did a while back, I'll need to took some time an do a good one, this one is still shity. Also need to do a sign or logo or something for my name.. hehe.
UVLayout is a little weird since I originally planed to do some more foliage around the trees ground, but didn't finish it. Maybe I'll revisit this and finish it up.
I love the style! Really great hand painted textures on the low poly models. I also love the shroom people concept. The desert colors is looking good, maybe some contrasting darker tones to draw the eye? Keep up the great stuff,

I used some The Legend of Zelda characters to play around...
So I did some redesign/own attempts on those characters.

Like I said, I did change their designs... and it's still wip.
Next up: Coloring. I'll try something without outlines... and with flat colors/gradients I guess, let's see where this will end up.

i like the different characters aswell. solid style.
in the last pic, the lack of shoulders bothers me. i think it would look better to define that area with muscles and such. like the face though, and the colours.
You could probably make one of your characters in low poly you have waaay more conceptart of your own to do it Or that scene that you've been working on in Blender.. I notice how many works are still wip now :P

And a high to low poly rock! Yeah. Did also use this to play around with the quixel suite. Was going for something kinda stylised a little anime-ish looking.

But the subway is on hold, since I'll do the monthly noob challenge 10. I'll come back to that subway project after finishing this one.
