It's that time of month. Post your favorite concepts for next month's challenge. The challenge starts in 10 days. Vote for concepts you like, the most liked concept will get chosen.
Keep in mind it has to be good for one month!
This month had a lot of participation, our thread hit 21 pages and is still going!
Tejay's scene would be great, 2 point's of interest, you could easily replace the sculptures with something you like (dragon, naked sculpture, animal, etc). It would be mostly focused on lighting and textures, and would give people plenty of time to finish, but the statues and detail work would give people with plenty of time a lot to polish.
Tejay : I agree with your choice , and keeps with the idea of a more natural enviroment, but adding more architecture wich helps a lot the visual narrative , the only minor concern I have is with the statue , I dont know how many people will feel comfortable modeling statues then again this is a challenge.
@rockguy: For those uncomfortable with a figure statue, ZacD said it best. You could easily replace it with something more simple. For those wanting more of a challenge you can easily complicate it as well. It's a win, win either way.
While I think it is half boring, it could easily be made pretty cool, and that the atmosphere of the scene would be fun to work with.
Totally. I can't remember if I posted this last month, but it would be fun to do this concept, then pass it around and light each others scenes or just do a ton of lighting variations.
It could be incorporated into many projects of a different genre... I'm working on a collapsed, ruined city at the moment; this would be a great to add somewhere
Learning water should be fun, but I'm sure there are plenty of resources out there. And whats the point of a challenge with no challenge!
On a side note it amuses me immensely that no one can spell my name right even when its written in front of them XD
Most of these concepts are golden and I can't wait to sink my teeth into whichever one is chosen. That being said, I'd like to submit a few that I think would make awesome projects as well. These are not my concepts.
This one would be an absolute blast to work on. I'd learn alot. I can't remember where I found this, it might have been somewhere on polycount.
It also has two scenes to choose from, so there'd be a little more variety in some of the posts. The choice would depend on which scene contains the most one would learn from. They both offer alot to learn in terms of architecture and industrial settings, and could be easy to pick apart with many modular props.

And I really like this concept
And after looking at it a second time, there is something about the first one I like, so my vote goes to that one
Can't enter now but would love to give the 2nd one a shot when I do have time, and in which case, I'd love to see what you guys do with it as well!
You can vote no matter what:)
Actually, an environment with a forest would be nice
I love that. If one worked hard that could be done in a month.
Yeh i love this too, would definitely get me to participate in the challenge
Looks difficult to do in a month, but has alot of modular friendly bits.
I remember Disting did this scene too:

Now that you mention that he did that lets do something that no one has done or not in a very very long time.

The top from Tejay or the bottom from Robeomega. Good picks from both of them

What better time to get better at it:)
Always try to improve your weaknesses, for what it's worth I am bad at water too!

I think that's because there is another PC member that goes by the name Teejay who posts quite alot.
Ah that explains a lot. I didn't see his post.
I'm gunna see if I can get more participants, if you could all be so kind, tell your friends!
I really like this one.
I'm hoping I can wrap up my current project in the next week and put all my energy into this
