Hey guys and gals
I'm a german 2D artist who wants to dive into the ocean of 3D modeling because I noticed it's easier for my brain.
Comments and critique are highly welcomed as it is my goal to be able to create working game models and assets one day. But I'm also interested in learning to render nice images with 3D software.
I start off with my first real sculpture after a few experiments. As I already have some knowledge of anatomy from drawing, it was nice to transform it into 3D but I still had to look up muscles here and there (like under the arm). The latissimus dorsi looks kinda... strange.
The second one is a Turian from Mass Effect. It was my very first head sculpture and while I was proud at first because I learned how to use Insert Mesh in ZBrush, I quickly realized how incredibly horrible the topology on that thing is. I didn't know anything about Quads and Maps and what not at that time.
Well, I hope we have a good time
