Hello guys I found this game just few days ago and started playing and I can tell that is most likely one of the best F2P MMO games.The game is currently under open beta and can be downloaded from the webpage.I decided to spread the word around because a game of this quality really deserves it!

Replies
Couple of gripes on the game that are minor but would be a drastic improvement:
- ability to 'test fly' all the planes, even the locked ones (especially before I'm willing to put money down to unlock the special ones)
- ability to select which maps / game types you want to play. One of my air forces is mostly set up for bombing right now, plus it would be helpful to know before I join a server whether I should swap in one of my torpedo-capable bombers.
- friend play, as I'd like to do a 'friends only' battle at some point.
Otherwise, loving it, and even though the level progression is a bit grindy, still playing it late into the night.

Out of curiousity, have you put any money into the game yet?
I'm down for some group play in WT. The guys I used to play with since December no longer work here, so I haven't been able to play regularly.
I'm on WT and Skype as Xenobond.
Flaag- I've dropped about $50 into this game.
Still Ive been play it quite a bit, lots of fun, pretty amazing for f2p.
In case you guys haven't noticed in FRB battles on some maps you actually have to use different trim setting depending on weather type.
Way better imo, at least it has a proper damage model rather than just a hp bar for each plane!
Have you played Wings Of Prey/Birds Of Prey (the console version)? It's pretty much that in terms of the flight model, but with a new mouse aim mode (can always switch it off and go back to joystick) and a tonne more planes (and of course lots more multiplayer stuff).
I normally just play with a mouse, mainly historical battles, but if I want a quick game I'll play a bout of arcade.

Serious? I normally hit them once in historical, and then they have no more tail :P
But yeah, know what you mean about the sight, it's useless in cockpit view. Should have a telescopic sight, irl they were known to hit targets up to a km away.
It is a lolsy plane though, for 90% of situations the U/2 with the 4x20mm is way better.
I've hit a fighter with the 50mm in arcade and he seemed quite unfazed. ^^
Are you using the air target ammo? I've not had any problems tbh.

I play mostly arcade. I would play a lot more of historical / realistic, but the load times for servers jump up dramatically, and for some reason I usually am limited to only one of my planes for the game which makes the wait less worth it.
I've got to try this! Played a lot of World of Tanks, but after a while you realize that game is just not all that fun or varied and just keeps you playing with a bunch of compulsion loops

The dev's ambition is to have tanks, aircraft, and naval (the three unit types you see in some of the maps), likely all playing on the same map at the same time... which would be epic.
