Cemetery Angel WIP

Hey all

I've been working on this for a bit and it will be part of an environment, im just fuzzy on how exactly it'll look. I wanted to get this out tho since it'll be the focal piece in the scene. Just the sculpt for now, but before I start the retopo, I wanted to get your C&C. Thanks bunches!




The child was supposed to look a little ominous, but I don't think that's being conveyed. I thought horns might be a little on the nose, but if anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it.

If the child is supposed to be ominous, its body language is what's not properly conveying that message. The problem is that the child is leaning on the angel. It's too affectionate. It would look considerably less affectionate if the child A.) was not as close, and B.)stood erect on his own two feet (as opposed to leaning in on one foot). Those are the quickest fixes I can think of...
