What is a Polycount banner? Do I have to apply to something? Please explain, I'm interested!
Those banners that appears on the top of forum, featuring exceptional works from PC. You don't have to apply. Admins must decide if your work is worth to be there or not. I consider it is, but I'm just a nobody.

I see. Well, thank you for the encouragement then!
Holy crap! I don't think I've ever seen a CG model look this real. Absolutely stellar job man! You have a portfolio online anywhere? I wanna bookmark your website in the hope that maybe someday I'd be able to afford to hire you to do something for me :P
I have absolutely no place being critical, but since I figure actual feedback is better than just praising you for masterful work,
The only thing that gives this away ( and the only reason one would notice is on close inspection, that one would only give it if TOLD it was CG to begin with) is that it needs a little more sub surface scattering, and a little less rim highlighting. I think with that change, this could achieve photo-real perfection. At the least, I can see nothing else.
This is really cool. It's crazy how realistic it is. It's like having a photo-session with Bryan Cranston. If I ever worked up to this skill level, I would use the skill to create images of bizarre circumstances with a CG version of some person.
Thanks for sharing this.
Hehe. The BBC just used your Walt with hat render as the headline for a culture piece on what makes bad people so compelling. Silly BBC. That's not real...
