2D vector/billboard artist for 3D game

Hi, I'm Nick, project lead for a 3D RPG of command and exploration utilising massive procedural worlds, in the vein of Minecraft, Dwarf Fortress, Battlezone (1998). Currently we are a 3-person team, looking for our 4th member (artist) and 5th member (musician).

The artist must have substantive cel-shaded / toon style skills, and should be a pure 2D, toon-style vector artist, a pixel artist able to reproduce this style, or else a hybrid 2D / 3D texturer / modeller with solid 2D skills and who has worked with toon-shaded characters.

In all cases, the artist should have demonstrable experience in this area, or the ability to knock up one heck of a good demo in a short period of time (a few days). I would ideally like someone who is open to both producing their own concepts and artworking from those, as well as taking concepts from outside and working those up into complete sprites -- though, if the artist in question is any good at concepting, the vast majority will be their own ideas.
