Hey all!
Me and a friend decided to have a little "duel", or challenge if you will.
We took as reference this image from artist Gary Tongue :
And we would create small map based on this painting.
Since we were optimistic and failed deadline, i though i'd create from scratch, and go for a little different style.
I'm thinking of going for some sort of darksiders 2 or maybe something similar, regarding style.
What i'd really like to get, is some feedback, especially on rock wall arround entrance. I wanted to keep this a little minimalistic look of it, but some people are suggesting to go for more sharper edges rocks, with some layering effect and such.
But i'm not too sure about it, i'm afraid i'd end up with more realistic look then i wanted too.
