I am working on a landscape scene with has some foliage and some other props on it. When I'm making a bake with lightmass it takes arround 15 min (preview mode), but in production mode...
after 3 hours it still wasn't finished.
I'm wondering how I could speed things up...
My question can you also bake like a specified area or region? I know you can set your lightmass
settings to selected objects or visibility. But If i wanted to test my landscape and foliage only
it still takes ages.
Or can you disable your landscape from baking, if that would be the case for long render times?
Is it also possible to bake out the Foliage only??
I also have LightmassVolume in there. If you could bake some region instead of the whole landscape 1009x1009
would be great.
I'm also not sure if it taking so long because of my landscape size or the foilage I have (grass patches). I have
some grass patches , but not extreme. Or can you use the preview render and then check the lightmass log settings?
Any advice?
