Changing Maya Shortcuts?

Hi folks,

Im relatively new to Maya, but have been modelling in Silo and Max for many years.

Im looking to change Maya's shortcut keys for selecting Vertex, Faces and edges, to the keys A S and D, same as Silo. However, I cant find them in the Hotkey Editor list?

Any help would be much appreciated

They are in status Line. Current hotkeys are f9 - f12 I think?

also something to note.. if you're making your own hotkeys.. it may be best to not override those commands, but make a new hotkey within the User category that just calls "SelectFacetMask;" and the others.

That way if you need to ever transfer to another machine or upgrade to another maya you can just import your user hotkeys. ive had maya bug out on me a couple times and delete my hotkeys altogether so having the custom user group helps to not have to track down where all the other ones i changed were.
