Well heres the last pokemon sculpt I will be doing for this weekly challenge, Zekrom! I cant believe 9 consecutive weeks had already passed XD! I really enjoyed making these speed sculpts, but I think I need to take a break on stylized art and change it up a little, maybe sculpt something more polished and realistic I will keep you guys posted on my next project
Hey guys! Here's the final wallpaper with all 9 of them together, this was a big 9-week straight speed-sculpt challenge I did for fun in my own time Each pokemon sculpt took roughly 2 days max, At first I didn't know how to keep this up while having a full-time job, but I learned a lot! you'll be surprised and realize how much potential we ALL have, I believe if you plan well, worked hard at a consistent pace, and most importantly! setting your priorities straight. Goals that may seem impossible to reach at first will suddenly become closer within your grasp if you make sure you do these things Okay, now its time to relax and finally start playing BioShock 3..LOLOL!!
Some updates! This is my first time doing sprite vfx by the way.. and I gotta say, making these frame by frame the traditional way is A LOT of work!!! XD really makes me appreciate all the old school stuff anyways, I'm just gunna leave this first pass here for you guys to check out lololol.. I might remake this again, and use the lasso tool more to get those abstract shapes in there..
Hey everybodyyy!! Here's my final sprite creation for Trunks!! I did some research over the week and really focused on shape, timing, and color this time around I hope you guys like it!!! !!
Really dig the LOL stuff. I'm curious how you guys collaborate at Riot on these characters. They all appear to be handpainted but I have also seen sculpts. Is each artist doing a separate part of the process? one artist models, another sculpts, another textures? And are there even normal maps on these characters? the final result looks 100% hand painted diffuse only. Just curious about your guys' workflow. Great work no matter what though!
Here's the actual mesh with textures in marmoset I was baking everything out over the weekend, and laying down the basic colors, I'll be doing a polish pass (scratches, grease..etc) for next week, hope you guys like it!
Here are more updates on my Android 16! I gave him a slightly bigger jaw, finalizing the textures, I think its getting close guys! I'll have to give him a pose this weekend!
