we've been working with the guys at Riot on some skins for League of Legends and since a few have been released we decided to start this thread to share them with the community. We'll keep updating the thread when more will become available, so here we go:
Maybe your hosting doesn't allow hotlinking, 'cause the images don't show up for me with the image tag or when following a link. Only when you directly paste it into the adress bar.
@CataFa: I'm kind of confused as how the sculpt integrates into the final game asset? If there are no normal maps, are the sculpt just used to bake an AO map onto the low-poly Retopo game model?
I'm trying to figure out the process with this project: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106169
and I'm wracking my head over 1. how to do hardsurface sculpts effectively, and 2. how to integrate the sculpt into a final low poly game asset if there are no normal maps involved.

Focus of medium sized details, don't worry about doing mircodetails that wont show up in game anyway. Try to avoid making the sculpt look blobby and try to keep clean edges that are just soft enough to bake well.
hey guys, thanks a lot from all the team. We're really happy you liked the models
@JadeEyePanda: as ZacD said you can use the high poly sculpt to generate several useful maps. AO is of course one of those but we are also using cavity map and bent normal to add some lighting and emphasize the details. I would take a look at the document that ZacD posted because it's a good starting point.
thanks a lot for all the comments. As promised here are some new images. This round we have Snowday Ziggs and XMas Catherina.
I hope you liked them and expect more in the coming days. Cheers!

unfortunately I noticed that as well. I'll have to find a fix for it
EDIT: Nevermind, opening the links in the second post doesn't work, but you just have to add http:// to it.

There's a lot more you can do than just and AO bake, you can also bake a cavity map, and edge highlights. Dota2 also uses different bakes to add texture detail
