Zbrush importing .obj coordinates (placement) wrong.

hey guys,

It seems that when I want to import/append a subtool in Zbrush the geometry's placement will be off.

Some of the imported .obj's will import fine but others will be slightly off.

I find that a combination of
1- Freezing All Transforms
2- Using Subtool Master's ability to import and append multiple files

has worked perfectly for me so far.

freeze the transforms in 3ds Max, hmm reset Xform should work?

Also, can the subtool master import/append "multiple" objects at the same time ? I find it pretty time consuming to seperately import all the subobjects by hand.

Yes and yes (which is why I love it)

taken from Pixologic's website:

OBJ files can be appended directly from your hard drive. This option allows multiple selection in the Open dialog.

I can't select more than 1 .obj per import @ my subtool master, could you shed some light on how you actually do it ?

tried that, does not work sadly.

I tried using GoZ instead but Zbrush crashes most of the time.

yeahh, it worked. Multi Append worked after several attempts thanks.
