Hey fellow polycounters,

Just a quick question. I am about to embark on my first ever hand painted textured model. I am new to hand painted textures and have wanted to try them for ages and would like to ask a question about how to attack the model itself.

With stuff from WOW and nearly all hand painted models ive seen the models are quite low poly and kind of blocky and looks like they are made to be that way. Am i right in thinking that it is the style to go for with hand painted textures and their respective models?

P.S. Any tips on how to make a decent hand painted textures would be awesome as well. I think ive got the right idea but im not too sure. How do you guys usually start your textures and what type of workflow do you follow?

Cheers guys :)
