I am really excited about ORBITOR being on Kickstarter. I have been working on it with Evil aliens (a small indi games company in Canberra Australia)

Ok I just had a look at Faraway. it doesnt play like our game at all.

maybe "clone" is a bit strong a word, but there are more than a few similarities. If you guys came up with the idea on your own, then cool.

Faraway was nominated for best handheld game in the IGF and was selected by Indie Fund, so it is not exactly low profile.

Just saw this on my RSS feed. Looks quite fancy, though admittedly it also gets a bit visually confusing (at least from the video). I'm optimistically curious about the game

I'm living in Canberra, and I've seen Obitor a few times in several different places. It's nice to see it getting some exposure.

It looks pretty sweet, I'll definitely be checking it out when it becomes available.

Good to see some local lads getting on Kickstarter. If it's not too personal a question, how you are handling the fact that you can't use Australian bank accounts and such on the service?

Your game is looking pretty good. I'm short of cash at the moment, but I'll throw you a few bucks when I'm sure it won't result in my having to live in a cardboard box.

In the mean time, I'd recommend throwing a link to Rock Paper Shotgun's Kickstarter Katchup. Should net you a few more backers as well as some pretty decent publicity.

Thanks for the advice guys. Im not the man to talk to when it comes to the money side of things. I'm just helping the guys out with some art assets. I'm pretty sure a demo of the game is coming out very soon. I will post a link when it becomes available. I'd love to know what you all think.
