Hello there! I've been lurking theese forums for quite some time now, just searching for insipiration and learning new tips and tricks. Untill now I didn't really feel I had any questions on my own. But well, now I do!
Anyway, lets jump right down to it. So, im still studying Maya and at the moment im trying to learn UV Mapping. I recently ran into a problem, I am trying to UV Map a building. I have a few faces from front/side view, and a few from top/down view, and im trying to sew theese together in the UV Texture Editor to be able to get a nice and clean texture.
But whenever I try to do so, my UV's mess up. I prepared a few images to make it easier to explain.
Theese are my UV's that I managed to put together so far. The texture looks nice!

However, on theese UV's (the ones facing up/down) I don't get a nice result, mainly because I havn't sewed them up with the other UV's just yet.

This is where my problems come in though, the picture should explain most of it.

If you have any further questions you need answered before anyone can give me a tip or some kind of answer. I'll gladly answer thoose!

Thanks alot. Also, thank you to everyone else who answered.
@Onionhead_o Your answer was pretty much the same as the video!
@MikeF That would probably have worked aswell, but my Unfold always seemed to mess up. Whatever object I was trying to UV. The above solved it though. Thanks anyway!

It's free to use and will make a lot of the UV:ing process easier.
More features comming soon.
