I have done a few sci-fi props, but never have I done a sci-fi environment. A while back I started this scene for my personal portfolio. It's taken me a while to get everything going. So what I have here to show all of you is a rough block out of the pieces I have made. No textures yet, but they will be coming soon. Keep in mind that this is just a block out and I am still working out the placement of all the pieces in the scene. Any way critiques will be much appreciated.

Rounded surfaces. Curve surfaces. Look at www.creaturebox.com for style inspiration.
Too many 90 and 45 degree angles at the moment.
It's been a while since I've worked on this project, but I finally came back to it and made some changes. I have made the layout way more open than the previous blockout I did. I really went through and looked at some more Ratchet and Clank images which helped quite a bit. I have added what will be a moving platform that will be moving along a pulley system. I have also made some textures which will be applied in the next post.
List of things to do:
-Add more gears and functionality to pulley system
-Add cliff and and construction pieces since scene will now be outside
-Add battle damage to certain pieces such as the floor mesh for instance
-Add smaller meshes such as crates, floating monitors, etc. to break up the bigger pieces
-Figure out the time of day for scene
As always critiques and feedback are much appreciated.
He may or may not have worked on a Ratchet and Clank game(s) in the past.
