[3dsmax] Bone based facial animation pose library

Hi guys,

So I made a bone based facial rig that's driven by blendshapes.

I have one character that has a few different facial animations.
Now I'm trying to get a few other characters up with some slightly different facial structures.
I have no problem transferring over the rig to the new characters but I'm a little confused on how to re-use the existing set of poses I have.


Is it possible to share the same pose library across different models with different initial bone positions through something like an additive blend?

Ex: frown, smile, mouth open, eyebrows up, etc


Or am I going to have to have to re-export the pose animations so that there's a set for each character?

Ex: frown_character1, frown_character2, frown_character3, etc
