Good day everyone, I am having some shading issues with Xoliul shader and I am pretty sure it something that I have done wrong seeing as it happened in Max 2012 and 2013,
I was following along a tutorial on baking normal maps to find strange black blotches on my model that seem to have the wireframe running through them.
Note I am totally new to baking normal maps.
Most of my time has been focused on learning to model now I am delving into low poly work.
By the looks of my normal maps in photoshop they seem fine.
Here is a quick render test I did on a cylinder to practice high to low poly work flows UV wrapping and Baking. The UV layout is horrible but I was mostly just trying to see why my tutorial was bugging out.

Something weird in the alpha?
Video card drive issue?
Makes sure you're in DX9 and Not Nitrous.
Makes sure for Max you have your nVidia/ATi profile set to minimum bones (no AO, AA, etc).
