Hand painted textures practise.

Hey i'm going to practice doing hand painted textures and will post my updates here and hopefully get good feedback. I have done a little bit of hand painted stuff but not much.

So here are the first one.

And also want to add that the right top one is on geometry with planks somewhat extruded.

Added some nails, the texture is 512x512 and i did paint it bw first and colored it after.

Looks like wood and tiles well, I personally think it looks a little blah. too much grey and more color would be better I think.

I think it would look better with the ends of the boards staggered or even varying lengths to avoid all the seams lining up.

Tried what you people said and it looks better imo, the thing with how the planks where placed before is that's how you would do it in reality because you have beams like that and not here and there.
