Hey everyone,
I seem to be having some issues I have never had before with my current project. When attempting to transfer high poly to low through Maya 2009, the normals come out with drastic changes in color.
Obviously this would cause serious problems when used in a material, seen here in the form of dark tears:
This is puzzling to me due to the fact that there seems to be no floating vertices or other geometric issues apparent in either the low poly or high poly models.
It is important that I resolve this issue as soon as possible. Please help me in finding a solution.
