Skeleton Throne Project - UDK

Hey everyone,

I've been working on this for a little while now I'm sure some of you have seen it while I've been working on some of the Google hangouts. The concept that I'm working from is done by a great artist named Joe Madureira Here it is.




Im thinking I'm going to expand the scene and but the throne is some sort of room, still coming up with ideas. This is my current progress I have All the base stuff modeled out.











Here is some of my sculpts for things I'm going for a more stylized look so let me know if I could push it more or any other crits.












All crits are more then welcome I'm hoping that this can help me kick my ass into gear to finish this thing as I'll have to update the thread now

I follow since of Joe Madureira xmen, without a doubt is one of my favorites ..
I think the model is being very well is in line with the style ... I follow with great interest

Very awesome. Only crit is the blade on the sword looks really soft. I would sharpen that up a bit. Keep cranking these out, I'm sure this will turn out great.

Small Update, I've finished the shield and the scroll. I've been hopping around working on a couple different things like the second sword and some bags and the chest. Ill post more soon but here are the 2 final Highpoly for the shield and scroll.

wow these sculpts really remind me of the darksiders style, looks great! also, is that concept from D3? looks very similar to the skeleton king on his throne.

Loving the almost comical nature of the skull nice work.

no the concept is from a cancelled MMO called dungeon runners, also MAD's concept art, probably why it reminds you so much of Darksiders
