Hello everyone ,this is my first post here,
I want to show the final images of my latest work.
a job that kept me busy this winter working on it, Up in the free time.
some information on my workflow: I built the body in zbrush from a sphere
with the method dynamesh, once placed all proportions I have been very useful
plugin decimation'' master'' to import everything into 3ds Max without losing muscle size
and with a very low number of polygons to be lighter on the scene when creating armor.
imported into Max's body I used almost exclusively'' tools'' Graphite Modeling Tools with
which I built the geometry of the armature and the various parties in a very adherent to the
body and finally used for the Retopology lowpoly .
Once finished, the two models, lowpoly highpoly I projected the normal map and the maps with
the option'' to render textures.''
I then rigged the model and I did a little animation of idlee from which I took the pose and the
final images rendered in mental ray.
the model with textures are render the low poly and the last is a render of the mesh highpoly
sorry if the pictures are a bit big but I did not want to lose the detail
I hope you like it, comments and critiques are most welcome

actually I was not sure whether to put a camouflage pattern, but now it went
I think the problem is most of the mantle due to the fact of rendering, works very well in the marmoset...
I thank everyone for the advice anyway
Not a crit so much as a matter of personal taste, but I would extend the ears a bit and give him a fuller cape. I just like Batman a bit more with a cape and ears that look more imposing.
One thing I really don't like is the mouth think it seems plastic or cartoony looking, does not fit the rest of the character.
Other than that damn sweet job
ehehe jokes aside, of course I was inspired nanosuit, I did not want a batman already seen it but I wanted to make it as are my personal taste, exaggerating the costume a little ...
I agree with all your criticisms, I think I've fired a lot with the specular in mray
instead in marmosets seems to work better, I show you some shots in marmosets without post effects and a wireframe, the polycount is around 17k tris, being a personal work I have not placed limits, I hope you enjoy these too
As a crit i'd say have a look at having the white bits of the chest armor a more darker grey but still lighter than the surrounding parts that areflush with it, so that the white bat symbol is exajurated a bit more
Give the people what they want!
Seriously though, nice work.
i only think his crotch-plate looks too short/narrow/tight for him compared to the bulk of his body
agree with Low about the pose, the upper half looks gd but not to sure about how the legs twist, also the hands/wrists are looking alil weird with the pose.
I see with great interest that this camouflage you like very much!
hehe, seems a little sarcasm, I'm really happy for your comments and considerations I will treasure, thank you very much .
I share your consideration and I agree on some points, but I think I will keep it that way, I worked a lot and while I was in the final stages I was almost tired of seeing him, however, I think that I am quite satisfied with the result, but I I'm already starting to go on another character, and I promise I'll do that next will not camouflage XD
My biggest issue is the lips, they look a bit shaped and feminine, wheras batman tends to have a pretty square jaw, and a more masculine mouth
Nice work!
