dang, looks awesome...thats one hard concept to work on...
side note; you should switch the renderer from DX9 to DX11 to get rid of the yellow glow on the right hand side of your screen shots when your done with this project
The platform is full of interesting colors which is always good and the modeling all coincides with each other which makes it fits really well. I really like this defiantly cant wait to see more!
Sorry to necro, just ened to say that this is coming along very nicely.
Could we get some close-ups of the broken brick walls? They look awesome.
I was also curious about the colours you're using. Other than the concept, do you have a colour pallette you're strictly following? I find it's very difficult to have lots of colours in a scene work together without looking like a rainbow, or too washed out and uniform. If you have any tips for that, it would be awesome
Nice observation Ivanzu.
I love the random normal popping in the brick work and I can totaly feel the focus per asset which is needed! A lot of artists will bang-out as much as they can to make the cut and fix up whats needed but your attention to detail is spot on. Subbed, good luck!
Also, I don't know how close your camera will get to the objects in the final composition, but it's generally good to watch your texel density and keep it as uniform as possible. In the close-up image of the tree and the crumbled wall, the wall texture seems almost double the resolution compared to the tree to me.
This looks really cool! I especially like the colours in the first shot. You've managed to turn what could have been a very brown and boring scene, into something really vibrant. Great work!
Biggest crit is your shadow color is really dark. That with the strong SSAO is making a lot of black shadows in the scene. I would cool those out a bit.
Lovely scene you got there I'm just not a fan of the abandoned buildings in the distance. I believe some rural houses would fit better. Or at least shorter and smaller buildings, if you sink them into the ground it could work :P
Wow, How'd I miss this scene? I like how this is coming, Your road needs some more transition. The clearance space would be much greater on each side.Something so that it's not just straight into grass.

Looks amazing man! There is one thing though that bothers me, on the left side of the house the roof has totally collapsed but there is no rubble or debris underneath it. There should be some debris around the house and on the floor, it looks too clean now, same goes for the 'main-hall', it looks as if it still gets cleaned and mopped every week .
I really like this scene and the strong attention to detail throughout. The one thing that bothers me the most is the fact the largest tree in the scene is the one which has torn through the train station and which is likely the newest.
I'd imagine there were trees in the area before this one, which would be larger ? It just does not sit right within the environment I'd believe it more if it was a smaller tree inside and the larger one outside.
If you were to continue with the large tree in the center of the building I'd consider placing more debris at the front of the building as this is where it would have ended up.
Overall I love the piece it just requires some more thought regarding the positioning of assets and additional details to turn it into an epic piece.
Hello everyone.
Update. Very slowly continue ))
* changed the grass. Train has found rust. added the decal under the rails and gravel, as well as some new propsy.
Decay of a pixel, nathdevlin do not worry, debris and broken pieces will necessarily be

Finish the platform.
Finish the main tree)
Worked on the grass.

Watch out for the main doorway arch texture, it seems lowres when compared to the remaining stuff (walls, reflective glass, etc)
can't wait to see this finished!

I had a little break, but now I'm back to work)
Big up.
Currently working on a landscape.
Selaznog No, i do not have special technique, just do textures, and color correcting in UDK

Beside from that, I just love the feel of it.

Приятно видеть работы такого качества от соотечественников. Так держать
It's still a WIP, so it will be even better
Lilith, Yury Спасибо за поддержку)
Just little up.
Did a railroad bridge (later he would be crushed.) The tower added some trees.
