A short story with a message
So here's the scoop, it's pretty funny now then it was a minute ago but I thought this might give a few people a chuckle.
So I needed to renew my license plate sticker and I'm really bad at doing this on time. I was working on a project when a friend asked me if he wanted to hang out, I said sure why not and decided to put off my work for the night early. I step outside to a full moon and laugh "heh, a full moon... Wonder whats gonna happen" As I'm driving down a empty road I spot a cop pulling into an empty parking lot ( I assume he's doing paper work ), but he turns around quickly and starts following me. I assume he's just going the same direction so I don't think much of it. After a few seconds of enjoying a quite drive at night I notice he gets closer... Well thats when the lights come on. Not two minutes from my home I'm pulled over. Realizing I don't have a receipt for the stickers in the mail I start panicking... 'Why? Why now? What did I do wrong' After texting my friend saying I can't make it and I should just go back to my safe computer the cop returns with a warning. did my revelation save me or was it just because mondays aren't that bad?
Either way I'm safely in front of my computer with a (maybe) somewhat funny story.
All this to say don't leave shit to the last minute, and don't ignore your art.
