Very cool work! I'd like it if you could make spidey's pattern a little more "squigly", like the concept. Right now you made the lines of the "web" on his costume very much like the movies, but a lot less like the awesome comcept. It might look weird in 3d though.
I personaly think his hand should be rotated so that it shows it in the position of spraying his webbing. More iconic.
Very sweet looking though! Love it!
@ Japhir: yeah I decided to avoid the squiggly webbage on his suit because I felt it would not read that well in 3D, I may have bee wrong about that but I guess I will never know. I think having the chunkier web pattern adds to the thinness of the character and offers a bit of a visual break to all of the detail. Having said that I could have pushed it a little further. Thanks.
@ makecg : hahah yeah fast...... fast as slow drying cement in the rain. Thanks dude.
@ jmiles : thanks :poly108:
Going to call this guy done. Thanks for all of the kind words and positive feedback everyone.
Actually, there is one thing I don't like (relating to the model not post processing). The pose of the fingers on the outstretched hand. Feels like the tips are bending backwards
Actually prefer the one above the final, in your final piece if feel like spideyman blends in to much with the chimney and the moon just feels like its overpowering the entire scene. Still a nice piece don't get me wrong, this is more personal opinion anyway, in nightmare before christmas even though the characters are similar to their environment they still contrast it and don't blend into it
Yes new version is way better!, agree with Selaznog though. The red (especially in his suit) could use a bit more saturation. His suit is supposed to be pretty bright red but at the moment the chimney seems more red than his suit (really noticeable on the part where is hand is placed on the chimney.)
@ MeintevdS : Thanks man I might come back and tweak it up a bit later, Also the fact that Skottie put it up on his blog has just made my freaking day.

I made a quick shot for DA, so I thought I might spam here to.
@ Shiskebab : Thanks. The webby suit stuff was pretty simple, I will make a tute or at least take a few shots to explain it soon.
@ Anuxinamoon : Thanks. Good call on the chimney. In the ref it goes behind his leg so I moved it and I think it looks much better now.
Started with the enviro. I will take a non lens blur shot next....I swear, so then you might actually see some of the details.
Thanks again everyone. more to come soon.
Great work!

new arts soon. maybe an environment........ maybe
Me too.
Awesome work!
I agree that this would look totally awesome as a 3d print!
Personally I think it looks better, but my screens at home are a bit bright so maybe it is a too dark now.
