I think you have entirely too much detail on the face before you've flushed out the rest of him. That being said, I love the direction it is going! He's super interesting to me.
awezome, he looks very "warhammer online squig herder" ish when you changed him into an archer.
I like that you put the quiver in the belt and not on the back btw!

Thanks man! I didn't play warhammer)) yes, its the truth)) But google says that you are right. Hmm...
Ho man, this is an awesome little character you've got going here! Reaaally liking the overall look. Definitely feels like there's good story behind this character.
Only thing I feel is that the ornamental skull on his belt feels a bit out of place. I don't know. It could entirely be just me, but he feels very nature-oriented/wild, and the skull seems out of place, being metal and all. It might suit more to have a real skull?
Really minor nitpick, looks good like it is too! Keep it up!

Thx! Maybe you right... But I think its not a problem because he has many metal parts in his cloth like belt pyramids, chain and buckles on his jacket, big metal horns holder on the back etc
Holy shit that fur is awesome. Great face too. Only thing I don't like about it so far is the bow, I think that you could push it a lot further judging by what you've done here. Maybe some fur on it?

If I'll have time, i'll think about the bow. But now i want to finish it as fast as possible cause I need to do some freelance work soon.
In any case thanks!
Thx guys! guhhh I baked him in xnormal with the cage from 3ds max.
Almost finished. I have still to tune specular, gloss and sss maps.
It skinned to biped with additional bones. Rendered in marmoset toolbag.
Finally 14996 tris and single texture 2048^2048
Really good. I thought you would put some dirt and a worn aspect on the clothes, everything look too clean, "new". But maybe he just bought all the stuff ^^.
looking really cool man if you have time for a quick texture tweak i may have one for ya. the laces wrapped around the bow are very heavily occluded for how big they are. Darkening that wrapping may allow them to separate themselves better from the bow's wood texture without having that really dark black shadow right on the edge of the material. also really loving the hand painted look on the gold metals. The boots are killer man!
@garriola83
thx! @Texelion
There are many dirt on the clothes and other stuff so.. Maybe its too dark and not visible on dark clothes... Thanks, i will add some bright warm spots on his jacket, boots etc. @woogity
Yeah man, thanks! I will fix belts on the bow.
Saw this in the WAYWO thread. Just wanted to say that this looks amazing. I really enjoy the way that he truly has character. Between his armor style and scars on his face it doesn't feel like a generic character. Good job.
love the platform! your textures look a bit plain though, I think you could ad alot of detail in there, dirt, scratches, war paint, color variations, hue shifts, stuff like that.

keep it up :poly121:
I want to rename my thread because my necromancer mutated into archer)) How can i do this?
sketch of my archer mutated from the necromancer
ps: The question in the previous post is still important
Hope you like it)

Finished base forms, now time to detail. And main question for me today is how to sculpt all this fur. Maybe someone knows good way to do this?
have u checked out the arena net art test threads? there are a lot of different fur sculpts there, maybe u can take some inspiration from those.
