A little about me: I've worked on 5 or so comic projects, including Material Girl http://heartgearimagineers.com/materialgirl/ and currently Systems of Entertainment http://heartgear.deviantart.com/art/MK-Bounty-Princess-Aran-186596647 . I have a background in formal art training that I enjoy, but I'm looking to expand into digital speed painting and pixel art.
What I'm uploading below is some digital concept work for On the Lamb http://www.on-the-lamb.com/content/ , a miniatures company that I freelance for, and my first attempt at a sprite. The Sprite is of the protagonist from Material Girl, which you can find in the link above.
