Yeah right, more RAM, what's next? Do we get to install an Operating System too? How about an Office-suite, maybe we can get an Anti-Virus while we're at it. Customizable consoles... what kind of an asshole would suggest that?
I would not expect stellar hardware this time. In the end both Sony and MS want to make money from their stuff some day. And only Nintendo so far sold with a win from day 1. I expect a sort of HD update, and that's it.
calls for 1080p and 60fps as standard on alot of game sites are laughable...
i think current-gen broke the back of the "power/look curve" and mind blowing advances will get less and less. yes lots of the new hardware will give us cool features but the difference between consoles will become less pronounced (esp to the casual viewer)
I'm not sure that's correct. I'm under the impression that overall, the 360 has generated $4 billion in profit. I'm not sure where that number has come from mind.
I agree with shepeiro and was explaining the same thing to my friends the other day, they will not see the difference like when they went from ps2 to ps3, it will be better but more subtle.

In total Xbox is still deep in the minus

Now if it pays off in the end, it's all good, but they probably want that to happen earlier
