Oh yea thanks for the heads up. Just changed mine.
Also, since this is likely related to the LinkedIn mobile app transmitting data in plain text...it might be good to remove to app from your mobile device if you have it.
I figured something has been targeting their site lately. I recently added my cousin, and suddenly I got requests from "Aunt Sandy". "Sandy" is my mom, so I suspect someone hacked my cousin's account, and started sending requests on her behalf.
I have to say, I am a bit concerned that changing the password won't matter, if linkedin hasn't fixed their security flaw. I mean, I changed mine, but my concern is it will happen again.
It's not ALL passwords its 1 25th of all passwords and they are still encrypted... Plus what are they gonna do give me some additional resume experience

Thanks. If its true I hope these a-hole hackers get caught, it pisses me off when stuff like this happens
I remember reading an article in which they explained that while Hackers are massive dicks, they wouldn't and shouldn't be hacking everything left and right, especially in this day and age on the internet, UNLESS, said portal is extremely flimsy with their security.
So basically, take it with a grain of salt...it takes two to tango.
Changed. Perhaps it was just a easy way for the hacker(s) to harvest passwords and attempt to hack other more sensitive accounts. I hope no one is using the same password for multiple accounts in this day and age.

That was fixed by an update iirc
Yeah that's what I thought, there's no mention of anything from LinkedIn so whats to say they aren't just taking the new ones.
L, this could be Kira... you going to take this case?
