It's not a problem if they're separate meshes and Toolbag has an auto-expolde bake by mesh feature(just like S Painter) And if that is the case you could probably do a bake just for AO whth the meshes attached as 1. Although for such low-poly meshes I would have modeled them as a contiguous mesh and avoid this problem…

generally speaking collision meshes should be untextured, convex and must be made of closed solid pieces to be properly parsed. (not sure of HL2's specific features available for collision meshes) No holes in the mesh, no folds on itself. what would really really help is a PICTURE of the model (the collision model that is)…

Did you look into the MEL Script Editor? It´s like a log for your actions, just use the polySlideEdge and you should see what Maya did? I would look into it, but i don´t use maya anymore Edit: Have a look here: http://download.autodesk.com/us/maya/2010help/Commands/polySlideEdge.html

I´d get the 360 and wii combination. I will when the wii is released in bigger quantities here in sweden, it´s kind of hard to get one right now Already have a 360 and i must say. Xbox is king when it comes to games. Especially for me. I´ve never really liked the japanese games.
