Hi all,

In this thread i'm going to post my progress on a new exiting uncharted inspired scene i'm making.
there is just something about the environments of that game that feels amazing.
so i decided to try and create a pirate-era village ruin with folliage to test my skills.

current progression-shot:
final:

old:

started on the blockout, i took a 360 degree turn from my original concept, i just couldn't make it work + it was too big to finish in the amount of time I had. This is what i got so far. (more progression shots in the comments)

start project

concept fase:
so my drawing skills aren't that great, but it gets the job done:

i'm going to improve this concept while modeling the scene so but the main thing will be based of this image.

update 1:

To start of this project i started to create foliage since this was something new for me.
still need to make a lot more foliage types but its a start.
tri-count:
- bananaplant: 792
- fern 1: 224
- fern 2: 140
- small dandilion leaves: 48 to 52
software used: photoshop, bitmap2material (to get normal info), substance designer, unreal4.

next up i wanted to up my sculpting game so i created a modular wooden beam:
normals were baked in substance painter.

feel free to give some C&C i would Greatly apprieciate it!
