z brush MRGBZGrabber help!

Hey everyone!

I am having trouble with the MRGBZGrabber in ZBrush,
I am trying to capture depth map from a tileable texture i have created.

When I use the MRGBZGrabber and only drag-select a portion of my canvas it works fine but when I try to drag select my whole 2048 texture the depth map shows up all white.

anyone have any clue on why this is happening ?

    can you try Alpha>Transfer>Grab Doc?

    Did you solve it? I had the same problem and got pretty annoying. I finally figured out the problem. When you don't use a plane as a base, the tools you drop on the canvas are at a height which the Zbrush depth grab can't process. So before you start, drop a plane and if you want a grid, apply the grid texture on the plane and then start adding your tiles.
