Worked on RAGE for 3 years, here's some stuff I made during that time. It was quite a collaborative project, so some things got outsourced and some things got touched up by alot of different people. I did alot of the early main NPCs, alot of the base parts and textures and alot of kitbashing for making variations of settlers, bandits and mutants. Also made the authority enforcer and the ark suit (which i still need to find screenshots of)
Awesome work man. In love with Rage's art. Fantastic job. Any chance we'll get some technical info about the texture res's you worked at, polycounts etc?
Awesome stuff, vitaliy! Rage is a very sweet game! Congratulations to your team and thanks for displaying your efforts.
Any chance that you can share some of your texture sheet samples that dress these bad boys and girls? I'm specifically interested in your approach to your diffuse work.
I honestly didn't think that much of Rage overall, but I went back to older areas just to admire characters alot. Especially the 2nd character, the girl who teaches you the boomerang things.
Man, that NPC looked freakin unreal in-game. She looked so well-designed that I couldn't believe she had such a minor role.
That's a horrible way of demonstrating beautiful models. I would've put a little bit of effort into doing proper renders without that plastic-fantastic look to them
But anyway -- fantastic work. The in-game ones work really well too!
Dood, no wonder you dont work there anymore. Shit sux!
Seriously tho, love it. Especially Mick. Something about his face in-game...easily one of my favorite game characters in years..he's just so expressive!
