It really was an awesome experience working on this and I learned a ton. I didn't do any architectural things, but I've made a few random props and some car paint themes and some megatexture stamping, that are all still in the game. I made the skull and the id themes for the buggy, the mutated moose head in the wellspring bar, the big balloon over the jump on the dusty 8. Little crap like that, but most of the time was spent making characters.
As far as textures I don't know how you can access them, I'm sure some modders will figure out how to get to those.
Regarding polygon counts and specs and what not I think I'll leave that up to someone who still works there, but I don't think anyone is really at liberty to divulge that info.
Just installing RAGE now, can't wait to see those characters in action. I really like the enforcer character designs along with some of the mutants. Solid work.
Really gorgeous stuff Rawk, I've been playing through the game over the past couple of days and it's just beautiful. I've just stopped and stared so many times. The main city feels so alive. Really amazing work!
Really wonderful work. Loved Rage, the characters sure had lots of visual character.
It's always great to see the high poly workings behind these things.
Nice work Vitaly! I'm loving the bold forms you use and the fact that you don't over complicate/detail the models, which makes the characters really stand out at a distance.
Just out of curiosity why would you post the sculpts rather than the textured models ?
I personally find your finished models far more interesting that you have on your site!
Hey, splendid stuff, Vitaliy! Something I'll definitely want to get back to once in a while and study some more.
Congrats on the release and I'm glad to see you posting some art
Gorgeous work man! I really love how you kept everything at the bare essentials and didn't go overboard with details. Clean, readable and freaking awesome work all around. Kudos to you sir.
Are you allowed to post wired/textured shots as well? That would be rad.
I also have been eagerly awaiting any art drops from this game and boy howdy, this, THIS is a treat.
I just finished the game a couple days ago. The gorgeous art really slowed me down. Great work, great game, congratulations!
Hey Vitaly, finally this is so cool to see all the character renders out there.
We miss you here:)
Anyway, seeing this is probably gonna force me to release environment stuff now hehe:)

Out of curiosity did you sub-d model your hard surfaces or are they sculpted?
