Finally had some time to work a little on this got a more final version of the emissive in and did some tweaks to the texture values.
Going to start working on the base next and start thinking about the final presentation shots.
The bloom is slightly hard to control as it seems it doesn't match what you see in realtime so I will have to do some trial error to find a good value for images xD
Small update, I toned down some of the bigger dirt and made the reaper more blueish.
I will probably render it out as a single asset since I have some other projects I really want to start with I might go back and build an UE4 scene with it later.
Ah I see! I can do some tweaks later tonight having some issues with marmosets AO though, it doesn't really give that much effect unless I really crank it up and then its just everywhere and pitch black instead
Yeah Marmosets AO is pretty hopeless. Are you working with Toolbag 2? Do you have a map in the AO slot for the materials? 2 works with AO maps differently than 1 and might help?
Cant seem to get the AO to do what I want but I tried some stuff like darkening it a little and made it less purple. I tried removing the laser effect as well

Yeah it would have been cool to do the city but i realized it was a pretty big project on its own so I skipped it for now. But I do like to build a bigger scene with it in UE4 later on
Figure it wouldn't hurt to ask as well, is the mesh available (say in OBJ format)? A friend of mine is making a mod for Empty Epsilon (an open source bridge sim) and wanted to include ME ships, but we have not found a textured model for any of the reapers.

I started playing around with some blockouts. I will also pose the reaper a little so it looks slightly more into it :P
Probably gonna do a render with the base and some without it

Also I feel it could use a touch more global AO, maybe a play around with that and see how it changes the image?
But seriously, this turned out amazing! I personally don't care for that background at all. I feel it detracts from the model.
