Welcome to the Monthly Noob Challenge 10 concept thread. Post concepts of environments you'd like to do next month as always vote. Please post a concept with your vote to give more options.
This is purrrddyy, but its all about the lighting. But lighting is often ignored so I vote for this one.
I really don't like that; there isn't much to it and i think thats what lacked attention in the previous challenge; not only that but the previous challenge already concentrated on the lighting, lets see some modelling/sculpting challenges this time!
If you want to see some random arts, you could check out this place: http://joyreactor.com/tag/art
I know, there is a bunch of anime, but keep looking and you find a lot of cool concepts there.
Might mention that some of them isnt really safe for work!
With that grey office though, it might be a chance to flex your story telling skills. There is a make shift bed and stuff in there, change up the environment to reflect the story of the person and world? I'm not suggesting massive changes to it but just little things like newspaper cuttings etc!
The secondary challenge could be to actually make it interesting!
I am not a big fan of the Office, maybe its because the lighting its so dark. They are how ever a massive amount of objects do. When does this Monthly Thing start? when do we know what is the image winner? I want to start this soon! I have learned heaps of stuff recently and I want to put it into the test. The biggest thing I got to learn, making assets its about using it for the composition. Not to make each asset stand on its self. I can dig into making small details and never finishing up.

We start the first of each month. You will know the first of next month.
I like them both a lot, I am however a bit entangled with the new VG Remix Challenge. Its not exactly this, but I like the idea of doing something really low poly and low texture size.
I definitely vote for this one. I think it will be a great place for the less experienced to start out and has plenty of room for the more experienced to flesh it out.
I have to agree with this one. Not a lot of tiny objects to get caught up on. Good atmosphere, textures and statue / creature in the next room vague enough for artistic license.
Going to have to agree with what others have said about this one. Looks like a good one for modularity. Statue looks fun too. This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 2400x1216.

Another vote for this one. Never done one of these challenges before but I'm going to try to find the time for this month's.
Don't get the love for the office. As someone said, it's all about the lighting and the desaturated post. As an added bonus, you get to make a ton of assets that nobody can get a good look at.
I really like this one, it seems to have everything and allows the artist to add their own mark through details like gargoyles, status or anything else they might like to use to make it more interesting.
My vote goes to this. I think whether it wins or not I'll model it anyways.

this, this is just too sexy.
Cool concepts. I'll go find some too.
I agree it would be useful and respectful to at least list the artist that created the concept.
Either of these.
i really like it this one
Go big or go home!

May I add these to the may pick collection? There is something I really like about this. Sculpting the tress around the bricks would be fun.

My vote !

I like this variants.
I am partial to the first and last one.
My Vote is for this one.
I was curious about that as well the other day. I'd be really into that
For the time being we have decided to grow this challenge first, once this gets a lot bigger then we will. SPREAD THE WORD AND GET PEOPLE IN HERE:)
I LOVE THIS ONE.
Also, my two cents:
{Also, I don't get the fascination with the planet model one. Not much going on in there, without the character!}
This is awesome
This one gets my vote lots of nice colours.
Enjoy!
