I’m using a Blender + Substance Painter pipeline (baking and texturing) with a low-to-high workflow: first a low-poly model, then geometry refinement, bevels, and subdivision. Since I’ve only just started learning, I ran into a problem on the simplest possible model: a cylinder. I made a basic 20-sided cylinder (0.6 m in…
Hello, not sure how this forum works so pardon me if I wrote this incorrectly. I´m a Fallout 3/NV 3D "artist" (at least thats what they call me). I do this for 6 years now, mostly buildings and interiors but sometimes I do cars (simpler cars). Thats where my question comes in. I am having a problem with the kind of cars…
So I summarize again what my problem is. Im trying to model a classic 50s "van" or "truck" for Fallout 3/NV mod and this is all I can make by myself. IDK how to continue further, like... at all. Any suggestions, tutorials or anything? I do 3D for 6 years now but mostly buildings and interiors or clutter
How do people get so much resolution in their textures on low poly models? I get really low resolution on my faces for 512x512 textures but I see people get really good faces when they have low poly. Mine: What I'm trying to achieve: this is a 512x512 this is a 128x128
The slowdowns I see with that are: a) you need to be constantly aware of your camera position and in which axis you want to move. I'm trying to make an original character that could fit into the WoW universe. I had found some material for learning objects and weapons but I seem to be missing the quality of what blizzard shows…
Been integrating Meshy and Tripo outputs into UE5 pipelines for a while now and the generation step is no longer the problem — topology and textures come out reasonably usable for props and background assets. The problem is everything between export and the asset actually being in the project correctly. My current manual…

The Blizzardfest challenge inspired me to tackle a project I've wanted to for a while now - grabbing a character or creature from World of Warcraft (which being 10+ years old and all has one or two models that are a leetle dated looking) and trying to make a zbrush sculpt and a later game-worthy model. I've been neglecting…
