There are some palette generators online but they only produce a handful at a time and seem geared towards home decor. I'd like to be able to designate a…
does it happen at a lower octave count when the mesh is less dense? does it happen at not 45 degree rotation? I've seen this sort of artefacting before but the exact cause escapes me for the moment
Cheers mate good luck for the future and a personal thank you contributing on that subd thread over the years, not only enabling myself but also alongside many others, getting some sort of handle on this hard surface caper B)
With the little time left I had to go into overdrive and finished the retop, test bakes and unwrapping uv. Still missing sorting the uv's and hardening edges that are needed. But with the bake set up I can quickly go onto the next step once sorting is done.
alpha blending you say ? could be a sorting issue - use the opaque material on anything that doesn't require transparency. if there's an alpha test / clip / masked material use that for anything it'll work on.
yes the normals appear to be slightly bent should I manually rotate them or something to your second point the low poly isn't finished yet I'm just trying to sort the baking issues low poly without bevel
