No:) Use whatever topo tool you are comfortable with. If it is organic I usually use Zbrush but if it mechanical I will use 3dsmax. Try using Zbrush - Zbrush UV Master for Unwrapping...amazing
!! So, retopo the mesh within zbrush and unwrap it in zbrush. Wow. I never thought of that. I always thought you use retopo the low poly and than decimate the high poly and project in maya. =\ Thanks.
