As the title suggests, I'm trying to find a way to convert the PBR metal-roughness texture style to resemble more of a Borderlands 2 cel-shaded style type of texture. I've looked up on google and so far I've found Baked Lighting Filter featured in Painter, but upon playing with its settings I can't seem to get the cartoony…
Hey! Awesome! I LOVE orks XD this is fantastic to see! Gonna get a little nerdy on you here- do you know what clan you're going with? That really becomes important when it comes to color scheme and symbols you use (if you care about lore at all). The moons you've got there are part of the bad moonz, which are very yellow…
Cheers! Unfortunately I can't lay claim to much shown here, since I'm doing technical art on this project - skin weighting, texture and topology tweaks is about as close as I'd come ... also doing a lot of setup for getting things working in game, and back-end animation / character pipeline work ... nothing really…
Good tip Pior! People do that all the time when working with clay, why I never thought of doing it with digital clay I haven't the foggiest. Seems so common sense, I could kick myself hahaha
Hey I just wanted to ask what zmaterials do you guys use? I have a few given to me from polyhertz (Gray clay/gray clay light etc) but wanted to see if there any custom ones people on polycount are using? :) If we get a bunch going I'll upload a z material pack for the community!
That's a previous iteration, larger low polys though. I have simplified it slightly, as I'm able to modify the bump maps in Painter to mimic detail without pressing certain details into the clay in Modeller.
Hi everyone! I've been working on a 3D model of a Chinese incense burner and wanted to share my progress with you all. Here are some clay renders of the low-poly model with normal maps added. I still need to create the textures, so stay tuned for the final result!
I use Clay Tubes,Clay,Flatten with a modifier to -100, and Hpolish with intensity to 100. Flatten is a good brush to break down edges and create new flat faces to finish off with Hpolish. http://youtu.be/L1wHKxLeK6I?hd=1
- Ridiculously frustrating, not especially fun, set-pieces that make you switch off in annoyance after the fifteenth time of failing. I'm all for challenge, but the thing that really pisses me off about these bits is that you just *know that when some of the devs complain that its annoying, the lead designer or lead QA…
That sounds suspicious. $30 for a 500W PSU seems low, especially for a local shop. Not all PSU's are created equal. Some have a weak 12v rail or low grade components. The claim of 150% boost in performance is nothing but bullshit. Entry level cards are not going to go up in performance that much between a couple…
