You can reduce the gizmo tolerance in snap settings to quite a small number. I find doing it twice can often help too. if you're looking at imprecision of 3-4 decimal places it probably doesn't matter in practical terms as you get floating point errors in very small numbers anyway.
Thank you very much for your fast answer! I managed to create a table of several PlayStation games with their Polygons numbers. Unfortunately I can't find any reliable PS1 numbers. I have attached my table, so you can see what I have found so far.
Maya 2014 is up to service pack 4, so make sure you get that one. The Student Version is technically the full version, but when certain serial numbers are used it goes into student mode. 3ds Max operates the same way. When you don't have a serial number it goes into trial mode.
ambershee, while it is a crap ton of people I am curious on the number that actively had to do with games. My friend that got laid off managed ABC ads for Hulu. While I'm sure there were a number of people working in games, i don't think it was 700 3d modelers and programmers. Large swatch.
loved this game !!!! im sure at one point this was covered in ice but i cant remember if that was number 1 or number 4 when you went back to it ??? either way looking ace im not an environment guy at all so i cant help you on the technicalities cant wait to see this finished bro XD
small tweak that I would like to see: When I am adjusting the map size, after adjusting the width I tab down to the height, and have to either highlight the number or manually delete it. It would be great if tabbing down would auto-highlight the number, allowing you quickly type the desired size.
Crazy junk, sucks man, I save my files as projectname then a number example redhead1 and keep going up in numbers until I am finished the project or change it when I start rigging ex rigging1 , uving1 and so on. Corrupt / crashing software brakes your moral for sure. Good luck.
The project im currently on is running high in the polycount numbers and with edge faces on the frame rate drops dramatically... I use a combination of "Shaded+Edged Faces" in the view port when modeling. The same number of polys on screen with edge faces off is fine, but when I enable edge faces frame rate drops...anyone…
Hey guys, so to start, I'm going to post an album of all the materials I used, along with (soon) two finalized in-game videos of my Outworld Devourer horns cosmetic. But first some reference numbers. Mask1 - Red: The glow effect will occur at even 4 points above pure black (for best results use a buffer of 5-9 for…
I know no body really develops 3D Games for Windows Phones, but I worked with a tiny development firm and I was leading the bench marking before the project was scraped. We were able to solidify the fact that any windows phones (the newer ones can tremendously exceed these numbers with the new hardware), including the very…
