I'm starting to model Finn and Jake's bedroom from Adventure Time. I've blocked out the scene and have started making the assets. I'm not sure whether to texture and light the scene within the cartoon-style, or to go for a more realistic approach.
Broken Sword is without doubt one of the best point and click adventures EVER. I think the story and puzzles really hold up well too (played through it again a couple of years ago). /gets nostalgic for the 'good old days'...
yeah learning a lot more, wishing i kinda learned these things when i was doing the polycount adventure contest hehe, a test bake and render of wireframe in maya, need to reduce the 23k polycount feels a bit too much for the character
Hello to everybody!! Im newbe here, and in 3D art. Im a programmer and i like to adventure in the 3D creation world. Anyone knows the polycount for Android based devices like Nexus S? Or Htc Desire HD?? And for iPhone 4 and iPad???
Soooo... Its a coop game... And yeah, looks like an arcade title, not a real Tomb Raider game... :( http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/adventure/laracroftandtheguardianoflight/news.html?sid=6252980&mode=previews Such low detail, and yet such low res... Very odd...
@Apocrs1980 Thank you! Yeah I absolutely love travelling and can't wait to visit New Zealand one day! There is still so much to see! In the near future I will combine the travelling with the entrepreneurship, that will be one hell of an adventure!
The MGS trailer is certainly pretty, but man was that long and boring. On top of that I get the feeling the next chapter is the adventures of Sanke and Rob the Robotic buddy. While I'm sure it'll be bizzare as hell story-wise the gameplay should be quite solid.
Our studio is seeking to add an additional team mate on a new adventure series. Think Uncharted/Tomb Raider in style. Your portfolio MUST reflect this level of work and detail to be seriously considered. Open to giving talented newbies a try. Please have a portfolio link (Artstation preferred). Work begins immediately.
Hi all. First post here. I am a student in Toronto. I have finished my first character; entirely sculpted in Zbrush, textured and rendered. I was a big fan of Pajama Sam as a kid and always liked to do a fan art for these 2D adventure games. Critique and comments welcome.
Kind of starting my Polycount adventure with this thread. looking for feed back on any work. Appreciate it. You can view my site at : brianmcclainart.net The story behind this level is an oasis where everything from the Bermuda triangle ends up.
