that face doesnt really look connected to the skull beneath it, check your head shape by overlaying a skull in the side view and front view. He seems like someone in his early 20s in the cartoon, if you could use that actor as reference but seriously make him seem younger and more fun looking perhaps that would work.

Love all your sketches. With your low poly skull there i would look out for how much detail you have packed inside the eyes. You might be able to get away with ripping out the last 3 rings and using those polys to round out the top of of the skull and maybe some on the cheeks.

Update on the pugna skull thiggy. after some pondering, i realised pugna looks reaaaaly strange and tiny without his horns. so i thought of converting the "skull", into a ritual hat, and give him some small horns. I still have some Beefing up to do for them here`s the first WIP. any advices?
