Thanks Daz. That tank almost got me my first real full time job at least two years ago so I sort of have a little love for it. The art lead of the team really loved it, but he felt my work was inconsistent. All the models are made to fit in RTS games except the Cute Tank. I do hate the very hard highlights on the M1 tank…
@Zerogun I like your texture layout and variations. My concern is that the appearance of 'construction' is off-putting. The tiles don't line up from one variation to the next and don't make sense in terms of construction design. I like the tone and layout, to be sure.
reworked a litte bit the uv layout optimizing enverithing, so I could get room for the skirt, the hair and the axe. I haven't decided yet on the hairstyle, so i just left some free space in the layout the old one the new one
Thanks. Yeah I know what you mean, I'm not too clued up on web layout and such. I'm not too happy with the layout but I'm going to try and have a play about with it and see if I can get something better. Cheers for the heads up!
In max if you collapse the stack UV1 is baked into the mesh as the default UV layout for that object. Then if you apply UnwrapUVW again, change the channel to UV2 and click reset the layout for UV1 will appear in UV2. You can also save UV1, switch to UV2 and load it.
Now mind you *THESE* are copyrighted but you can change the layout of the layout I'm sure. Have you checked out http://www.virtualworld.com/btfrstrm/mechs.shtml Yet? And yes I'm a Old Timer TeamLeader-Alpha1 is my Callsign there. Been so since 1995.
Hey I just started a new environment and I wanted it to be a lot more UE4 intense and I wanted to focus on lighting and layout. I plan to change up the layout and make model updates. I'm using this to learn a lot about lighting, and effects in unreal 4 so any cool info would be greatly appreciated!!!
Not many people on here would like that layout. Your home page should showcase all your projects, and clicking into them should showcase that project in more detail. Your stuff is cool but would look 10x better with a better layout.
This should be very possible! "Is it correct if I make print screen from Photoshop Quixel swathes (save as .psd) and use this print screen into ZBrush for eyedrop color?(I imported it to ZBrush layout using Texture/Image Plane. I attached simple layout below."
So I found some time bring the pistol to where it stands now. This may not be the final layout for this piece as I want to have a consistent layout for displaying a portfolio. Now, to just get that portfolio. lol Please, let me know what you think!:)
