I don't think there can be any practical texture cheating (after all, visibility and quick action isn't part of what makes MMORPGs what they are) in WOW but Blizzard will probably still shoot you down. -
Wrath of the Lich King
Anyone else still playing WoW? The latest expansion goes live at Midnight tonight, and I plan on picking up a copy at lunch tomorrow. Who else is helping to fund our blizzard polycounter's Christmas bonus. -

you critiqued yourself pretty well tbh, it's good that you can spot areas of improvement on your own work. - I think her proportions need work; Sylvanas has longer legs and a more slender hourglass figure. Don't forget she was a high elf in life, and not just any high elf but a captain ranger. So you'd want heroic… -

Nice start. I don't know if you also wanted to match the Blizzard Art style, but if so the edges have to be rounder and you should push the shapes a little bit more. -

unless your work is amazing your not going to go straight to Bioware or Blizzard. Keep them as a goal and work in that direction. Decide what role you want to fill and keep improving it. -

I know quite a few devs here at Blizzard that started out in QA. Wouldn't say its that common though but then again, everyone's motivation levels, enthusiasm and innate skills is different.
