I'm a broke ass soon-to-be college graduate. Once I work enough in the area, I'm moving to a place where the sun shines, every studio gives me 30k tri limits, and I get to use 4k texture sheets for everything.
Actually it was a work pc, from my Employer, it came with a std 250 w Sparkle, laughs, brand psu and I tried my 300 W Seasonic to no results. Yes and no beep beep on start up, I think she bit the dust.
I had a look for what Johnny Raptor mentioned and found this which may be helpful..... http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=gszCU5xyJQQC&printsec=frontcover&dq=drawing+people Also check out Richard Smith's tutorial.... http://gnomonology.com/tutorial/343
I'll be the first to agree the slow motion stuff in 300 was great for absorbing the eye candy... Unfortunately, it was overdone. There's also a small section in this trailer where I'm certain he's at it again... Let's just hope he doesn't ruin this film by constantly doing it.
Fixed the knees and finished up with the character (minus the sword and sheath). Will start unwrapping once I got her weapons retopoed, and would be happy to hear any thoughts or suggestions in the meantime. Just made it under 30k with 29885 tris!
Yes, it is way too high. I'm guessing you just used an auto-topo solution. That boulder could probably be reduced by a factor of 20. As an example, the hero character from Uncharted 4 is only 30k. The cinematic version double that.
the orientation is just a modified cube in 0,0,0... isn't isometric a 30º for each side? why should I put the -35 and 45 in those axis? just trying to understand the formula so I can do the same for the other perspectives
It's yours for $300. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1944625487/omni-move-naturally-in-your-favorite-game I don't like the idea of attempting to walk up the wall of a small sink for hours hours, with a ring wrapped around my waist.
If we end up doing a size limit, 400-500kb per image is definitely all that's needed (maybe 300-350kb). I don't think a single image on my folio is above 500kb and I've never heard a complaint.
edit: the max polys was 400 i beleive i was under 300. For the outline we were given three shapes and told to pick one of the shapes and then make a crate heres the wire aaaand texture maps (normal) (diffuse) (spec)
